Otf Failure Analysis Technician - Night Shift

This role is for an OTF Failure Analysis Technician in a semiconductor lab, responsible for operating lab instruments and handling silicon wafers for advanced technology nodes. The job involves sample preparation, operating tools like FIB/PFIB/SEM for cross-sectioning and material analysis, and working from schematics. It requires experience in semiconductor manufacturing or failure analysis tools and emphasizes attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Operate lab instruments to support high volume manufacturing of advanced technology nodes:
  2. Hands on handling Silicon Wafer/pieces.
  3. Operates lab tools, such as sputter coaters and spin coaters for sample pre-treatment.
  4. Operates Dual Beam FIB/PFIB to perform site-specific cross sectioning and prepare TEM samples, including site marking, depositing protective materials, de-layering, imaging and TEM lamella preparation.
  5. Operates SEM for imaging and material analysis.

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma; OR advanced engineering studies in the electrical, electronic of related field of study.
  • 2+ years of experience in semiconductor industry, or failure analysis tools.

Nice to have

  • More than five years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing facility or lab facility.
  • Proficient in Dual Beam FIB/PFIB/SEM system with hands-on experience.
  • Background knowledge of semiconductor device structures and advanced technology nodes.
