Logistics Manager role within the manufacturing division of Eli Lilly, focusing on the strategic design, coordination, and management of logistics for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods. What you'd actually do

  1. Logistics design: Optimize vendors, transportation routes, methods, and equipment for imported raw materials/intermediates and finished product transportation in collaboration with Global Logistics, O2C, Affiliates, and relevant departments.
  2. Logistics operations/warehouse management: Participate as a logistics representative within the GDP organization, build and maintain Eli Lilly Japan's GDP, and operate logistics/warehouse operations in accordance with guidelines.
  3. Manage external vendors, operating warehouse operations appropriately through JPT management and KPI management.
  4. Monitor storage capacity in internal/external warehouses, coordinate with relevant internal departments to adjust load, operate warehouses within capacity, and maintain compliance.
  5. Act as a point of contact with Global Logistics to ensure consistency between Japan and global logistics, contributing to overall logistics optimization from a Global Lilly perspective.
