State Farm is seeking a Paralegal to join their Claim Litigation office in Houston, Texas. The role involves supporting attorneys with drafting discovery responses, trial preparation, and other legal services. The position requires 3+ years of civil litigation experience, familiarity with Texas court rules, and strong organizational and communication skills. The role is hybrid and offers a salary range of $62,062.00 - $85,000.00 with potential incentive pay.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist attorneys in discovery and pre-trial matters under attorney supervision
  2. Assist attorneys in handling assigned case files and delivering other legal services under attorney supervision
  3. Prepare cases for court appearances, depositions, and trial including contacting experts and clients
  4. Identify records to request from non-parties by reviewing file materials and discovery responses
  5. Draft motions and pleadings
