Payment Lifecycle Analyst

This role focuses on processing and monitoring financial transactions, reconciling accounts, investigating exceptions, and ensuring accuracy in reporting within a fast-paced operations team at JPMorgan Chase. It involves partnering with various internal stakeholders to manage payment lifecycles across cash services, lending operations, and supply chain finance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Process social security and tax payments, court orders and garnishments in line with procedures and controls.
  2. Reconcile accounts, investigate breaks and drive timely resolution of exceptions.
  3. Complete daily control checklists and maintain appropriate evidence.
  4. Provide operational metrics and reporting to management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  5. Support lending operations processes by receiving, storing and tracking lending notifications and documentation.

Skills

Required

  • Fluency (written and spoken) in Spanish and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks and deliver accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and control-focused mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and a matrix organisation.
  • Ability to follow procedures, guidelines and policies and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Logical and organised approach to problem solving and execution.

Nice to have

  • Additional language skills beyond Spanish and English.
  • Experience in banking operations, including transaction processing and client documentation handling.
  • Knowledge of cash services, lending operations or supply chain finance processes.
