People Solutions Generalist (fixed-term Contract)

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position for a People Solutions Generalist at Braze, supporting the overall employee experience and People team's success by driving change across the department to meet business goals. The role will oversee the AMER region and provide support across various People team functions globally, reporting to the Senior Manager, People Operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the implementation of company-wide initiatives, such as the engagement survey and performance reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders in planning, execution, and communication
  2. Assist the development of internal processes and programs, and revamp current employee programs owned by People Solutions to ensure continued effectiveness
  3. Oversee and manage complex global mobility and immigration cases. Act as a consultant for the business and internal People teams, handling intricate cases and ensuring every employee's relocation or visa experience is smooth and legally compliant
  4. Support the company’s expansion plans by collaborating with teammates to work with our Employer of Record
  5. Continuously identify opportunities to improve our operations and service delivery within the Shared Services model to deliver efficient and exceptional support to employees and the business

Skills

Required

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in an HR role
  • Extremely strong and consistent attention to detail and accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness of work
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong service orientation to internal and/or external customers
  • Experience guiding strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making aligned with company and team goals
  • Professional maturity and discretion when dealing with sensitive data
  • Proficiency in project management and strong analytical and reporting abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all different types of personalities
  • Flexibility and creativity to improve current processes as the business scales
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to manage own workload and priorities
