Physical AI Partner Technical Enablement Lead

This role focuses on enabling external partners (solution scaling partners, outsourced partners, universities, research labs, and the Physical AI developer community) to build, optimize, and deploy Physical AI solutions on AMD platforms. It involves technical guidance, ecosystem development, community engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate AMD's Physical AI ecosystem in China, with a focus on robotics, automotive, and multi-modal inference workloads.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead technical engagements with solution scaling partners, outsourced partners, and research institutions to enable Physical AI workloads (robotics, automotive, vision-language-action models, multi-modal inference) on AMD platforms
  2. Identify and cultivate new ecosystem partners across China, including universities, research labs, startups, and established solution providers
  3. Enable and support the Physical AI developer community in China through technical training, workshops, and hands-on labs
  4. Work closely with AMD sales, marketing, and business development teams to align technical enablement with business objectives

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, customer or partner-facing technical roles
  • Deep understanding of AI/LLM deployment and familiarity with physical AI workloads
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime, vLLM
  • Experience with Android, Linux system software, embedded Linux, and edge inference platforms
  • Proven track record of enabling external partners (ODMs, OEMs, solution providers, research institutions)
  • Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or developer programs
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Software Engineering management and customer support experience
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
