This role is for a Planning Analyst at Anduril, a defense technology company. The analyst will be responsible for building scalable workflows, ontologies, and data models to support planning operations, focusing on translating demand insights into production and procurement signals. The role involves partnering with leadership and analytics teams to develop data models and reporting applications for supply chain, manufacturing, and finance domains, conducting ad-hoc analyses, and running scenario planning. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience with ERP and BI tools, and proficiency in SQL and Python.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Planning leadership and Anduril’s Analytics team to build secure, timely, and extensible ontologies for domains such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance.
  2. Develop reporting and data applications that provide near real-time visibility into planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, fill rates, and inventory turns.
  3. Conduct ad-hoc analyses on demand signals, inventory strategies, and supply risk, delivering insights that balance service levels with profitability.
  4. Run scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of market or contract volatility on operational outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with Analytics engineers to generalize planning workflows and data products across Anduril’s production and sustainment organizations.

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytics-focused role (Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Analyst/Consultant with strong supply chain or operations background)
