This role is for a Process Engineer (Release Train Engineer) at Boeing, focusing on supporting engineering teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure continuous delivery and improvement. The responsibilities include guiding teams in an agile environment, managing timelines, resolving problems, coaching on agile methodologies, assuring issue mitigation and risk communication, escalating impediments, optimizing the flow of value, reporting on project execution metrics, maintaining data coherency, facilitating PI planning events, and driving continuous improvement. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, experience with project management tools like Jira, and at least 3 years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile methodologies, cross-functional teams, and leading teams or projects. Preferred qualifications include experience in the aerospace industry, as an RTE or Scrum Master, and familiarity with software development life cycles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide guidance and support to ART in an agile environment to produce high-quality products
  2. Assists with managing timelines, resolving problems, and coaching team members on agile methodologies
  3. Assure the correct individuals on the ART own, mitigate, and communicate issues and risks
  4. Escalate and track impediments & provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  5. Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools
