What you'd actually do

  1. This role will be responsible for the safe operation of highly automated equipment used to fill syringes and for performing required area cleaning.
  2. The Filling Technician is expected to model current Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
  3. They will support the Line Lead in development of operators and identification of opportunities for operational improvement.
  4. Adhere to RTP Plant safety policies and procedures, contribute to a safe work environment.
  5. Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product.

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience
  • Ability to wear safety equipment
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • Ability to work off-shift for training
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Basic computer skills

  • 3+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical, or equivalent regulated industry

  • Previous experience utilizing solution filling equipment and/or isolator technology
  • Previous experience with pre-filled syringe (PFS) technology
  • Previous experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
