As a Product Design Intern, you'll help shape the user experience of Rocket's innovative digital products. You'll gain hands-on experience in the product design process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help define the future of financial services technology.
About the Role
- Generate ideas and concepts through sketching, wireframing, and prototyping
- Work with our research team to understand customer needs and pain points
- Translate insights and feedback into intuitive and visually appealing designs
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to bring to life
- Advocate for user-centered design principles
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong visual design and UI/UX skills
- Ability to effectively communicate design decisions and rationale
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to support the iterative design process from end-to-end, including wire-framing, prototyping, user testing and high-fidelity visuals
- Experience with user research and usability testing
- Familiarity with design thinking methodologies
- Understanding of front-end development and technical constraints
- Experience contributing to the design of products in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
