JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase · Banking · NY · Asset & Wealth Management

Product Manager (VP) at JPMorgan Chase for an AI-native, agentic platform focused on risk management transformation. The role involves owning product execution, translating strategy into an actionable backlog, driving iteration planning, and ensuring delivery teams build features with controls and measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities include backlog refinement, translating needs into epics/stories, leading Agile ceremonies, managing dependencies, defining metrics, coordinating UAT, participating in governance, embedding AI-enabled delivery practices, and owning the end-user experience. Requires 7+ years in financial services product roles, knowledge of risk management, and strong Agile execution. Experience with AI/ML tools for delivery execution and in regulated environments is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and continuously refine the product backlog for your product/platform area, prioritizing work to deliver the highest-value outcomes aligned to strategic themes (modernization, simplification, governance and controls uplift, transparency).
  2. Translate strategic intent and stakeholder needs into delivery-ready artifacts, including well-formed epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, testable requirements, and an explicit definition of done that includes operational readiness and controls expectations.
  3. Lead sprint/iteration planning and support Agile ceremonies in partnership with Technology, proactively managing scope, sequencing, and trade-offs to improve delivery predictability.
  4. Coordinate cross-team dependencies and manage delivery risk, identifying issues early and driving timely decisions and escalations to protect milestones and regulatory/governance commitments.
  5. Embed AI-enabled delivery practices into the product development lifecycle where appropriate (responsible tooling use to improve requirements quality, testing efficiency, and documentation), while adhering to firm policies and regulatory expectations.
