Product Marketing Manager, Discovery

Roblox is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for their User and Discovery group. This role will drive the marketing strategy, positioning, and messaging for content discovery products like search and home page. The group uses advanced machine learning techniques and real-time signals to connect users with experiences and creators with audiences. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of product marketing experience, preferably with global platforms and products driven by ranking.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the marketing strategy, messaging, and positioning for all our content discovery products: search, discover, home page, Moments, notifications, and more.
  2. Develop compelling, evergreen content that educates users and all stakeholders (developers, creators, influencers, etc. as relevant) on the product experience and drives use and engagement
  3. Anticipate movement within our competitive space and users to predict market trends and product needs
  4. Work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Comms, Partnerships, and Developer teams. Become a trusted advisor to these departments. Lead alignment with leadership on compelling strategies and sensitive topics
  5. Communicate product details internally and externally. The goal is to make sure that all team members are up-to-speed on launch details and external stakeholders have a smooth onboarding on any changes to their experience

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience preferably with a global platform, working on products that are driven by ranking
  • Experience leading omnichannel product marketing strategies
  • Proficient in messaging, positioning and marketing/content strategy
  • Experience driving cross-functional alignment and working with product stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaborative, globally minded with a high level of audience focus and instincts for partner, creator and user needs
  • Be hands-on with individual projects
  • High attention to detail including precise and effective communications
