Project - Consultant, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst

This role is for a Project Consultant, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst within Deloitte's Enterprise Technology Strategy and Transformation team. The analyst will support client engagements by conducting market, financial, and operational analyses, developing presentations and models, and synthesizing findings into recommendations. The role requires experience in strategy consulting, business transformation, and researching risks related to mergers and acquisitions, with a strong emphasis on national security, regulatory, and compliance aspects. An active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conducting market, financial, and operational analyses to support client engagements
  2. Developing presentations, models, and structured deliverables for client and internal stakeholders
  3. Supporting workstreams related to growth strategy, transformation, operating model, and business performance improvement
  4. Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings into clear recommendations
  5. Collaborating with engagement teams to manage timelines, action items, and deliverable development

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, or business analysis
  • 2+ years of experience creating presentations, reports, and client-ready deliverables
  • 2+ years of experience researching corporate structures, financial information, and supply chains to identify national security, regulatory, or compliance risks related to mergers, acquisitions, and foreign investments.
  • Ability to travel 0-25%
