Qrm - Contractual Deal Strategy, Contracting and Risk Management - Manager - C_mat

This role focuses on contractual deal strategy, contracting, and risk management within Deloitte's Quality and Risk Management group, supporting the Financial Services and Energy, Resources, & Industrials industries. The position involves providing risk consultations, reviewing and revising contracts, assisting in negotiations, and monitoring risk during engagement execution, with a focus on technology services and managed services. The role also supports strategic initiatives related to software, cloud, data analytics, Generative AI, and privacy & security.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist with deal desk and contract review activities. Support our sales team with deal and contract structuring, RFI/RFP/Proposals, contract review, drafting custom provisions, and negotiations.
  2. Intersect with various functions - including sales, legal, finance, and delivery - to act as a strategic advisor to help manage deal flow and to optimize sales and contracting cycles.
  3. Work closely with deal teams and legal in reviewing, advancing, and negotiating agreements such as master agreements, confidentiality agreements, and teaming agreements. Own risk consultation and contracting review of scope of work / SOW documents and related schedules.
  4. Assist with ongoing contracting, risk management, and mitigation support for ongoing contracting requirements - SOWs, Change Orders, amendments, and renewals.
  5. Work actively with account leadership and quality team to identify and help mitigate post-signature delivery and engagement risks.
