Responsible for installing and troubleshooting voice, video, and data services for residential customers, including basic home networks. This entry-level role involves performing field assessments, meeting company standards, and completing necessary certifications. The work is physical and requires working in various environments, including customer homes and potentially outdoors or in confined spaces. Key responsibilities include performing installations and service changes safely, diagnosing and resolving issues, verifying service quality, educating customers, documenting work, maintaining equipment, and driving a company vehicle.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects while following safe work practices, company procedures, and applicable electrical and safety codes.
  2. Complete service calls by diagnosing and resolving issues from the network connection to customer equipment.
  3. Install and support basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi technology based on customer needs.
  4. Verify service quality using required testing tools and make adjustments to deliver reliable performance.
  5. Educate customers on products, services, equipment use, and setting appropriate expectations.
