This role is for a Senior Account Executive focused on the Canadian Ministry of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces. The primary responsibility is to drive sales of Elastic's search, observability, and security solutions, which are AI-powered. While the company and its products are AI-related, the role itself is sales-focused and does not involve building or researching AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive Elastic's sales strategy for DND and CAF, delivering tailored solutions for operational and cybersecurity needs.
  2. Cultivate relationships with defence and government leaders, identifying opportunities to support mission success with Elastic's products.
  3. Collaborate with government stakeholders and Canadian system integrators to design and implement Elastic solutions for joint and multi-domain operations.
  4. Partner with internal teams to craft compelling proposals and ensure alignment with Canadian federal procurement requirements, including PSPC and DISO frameworks.
  5. Stay current on evolving DND mission priorities, defence funding trends, and technological advancements including those tied to the Defence Policy Update.
