Senior Accounts Receivable Disputes Associate

This role supports dispute resolution activities, analyzes deduction trends, and helps improve accounts receivable performance within Deloitte's Managed Services offering. It involves managing customer deductions, researching and validating disputes, communicating with stakeholders, and identifying root causes for process improvements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage an assigned portfolio of customer deductions, including short payments, pricing discrepancies, shipping errors, and compliance-related fees
  2. Conduct deep-dive research and validate disputes using enterprise resource planning systems, customer portals, proof of delivery, and supporting documentation
  3. Communicate with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, challenge invalid claims, and drive timely resolution
  4. Maintain complete dispute case files to support audit readiness and consistent decisioning
  5. Serve as an escalation point for analysts; lead customer and internal negotiations to challenge invalid claims and secure repayment or documentation-based denial
