Senior Airplane Systems Integration Engineer focused on Certification and Safety for the 777X team at Boeing in Brazil. Responsibilities include coordinating technical information, ensuring compliance with regulations (ARP 4761, Part 21, Part 25), and facilitating integration meetings.

What you'd actually do

  1. Systems integration focal for Certification and Safety projects supporting the entire systems IPT (Integrator Product Team);
  2. Collaborate with organizations such as Systems, Propulsion, Interiors, Avionics, Structures, Reg Admin (Boeing Certification Office), and ALIT (Aircraft Level Integration Team) to coordinate/communicate technical information, processes, and strategies supporting airplane level certification and safety efforts
  3. Flow down direction from ALIT (Aircraft Level Integration Team) following Boeing safety process (based on ARP 4761)
  4. To promote alignments within internal areas of the company in order to conducted and conclude certification process (program area, other engineering areas, certification/airworthiness area, project management area, etc);
  5. Partner with systems IPTs to support them in completing certification and safety activities within the specified program schedule and help resolve issues/roadblocks as they arise.

Skills

Required

  • Existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Registered or eligible to register with CREA
  • Proficient in verbal and written English
  • Experience in any airplane systems

Nice to have

  • Experience with ARP 4754 process
  • Experience in design engineering / Engineering Design processes
  • Experience in developing and managing metrics and Design Assurance or Process Assurance
  • In depth experience with Agile project management techniques
  • Ability to quickly analyze, understand, organize, and communicate complex technical concepts/problems across multiple disciplines
  • Experience in Internal Technical Management Information Systems (DCCS, LCS, ECC, MBC, Fireview, ECSLIB, REDARS, ETAC, SharePoint, JIRA, Gitlab)
  • Certification and/or Engineering Change Approval training
  • Knowledge and experience working with ARP 4761, DO-160. FAA/EASA/ANAC regulation (Part 21 and Part 25).
  • Ability to act as a liaison and a reference in the work scope to integrate the areas.
