Senior Analyst, Global Pricing Strategy

This role supports and leads workstreams on pricing strategy and corporate initiatives within Visa's Global Pricing Strategy team. It requires strong thought leadership, analytical rigor, and the ability to solve complex business problems, with an emphasis on improving decision quality, coordination, and execution readiness. The role is suited for a problem solver who is curious, learns quickly, and effectively leverages modern tools, including AI, to improve analysis, workflows, and outcomes. The candidate should be AI-curious and practical, using AI tools to accelerate analysis and improve insights, but is not expected to be an AI specialist.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support and lead elements of pricing strategy development and refinement, including opportunity identification, strategic analysis, and framing of pricing decisions to support innovation adoption and ecosystem incentives
  2. Support and lead aspects of pricing modeling, forecasting and socialization, including but not limited to development of business cases and assessments of stakeholder impact for new fees, services, and/or rate modifications
  3. Identify, prioritize, and execute activities that support Visa's corporate strategies, priorities, and special initiative, with attention to timing, dependencies, and execution readiness
  4. Work within cross-functional and cross-regional teams, including Product, Finance, Client Services, and others, to solve complex business problems and develop recommendations across a wide range of business issues
  5. Help improve visibility, coordination, and consistency in how pricing decisions are developed, sequenced, and communicated

Skills

Required

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Nice to have

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 2 or more years of experience in financial services, payments, strategy consulting, or a related field, with genuine curiosity about trends, innovations, and challenges in payments and money movement
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate ideas and proposals within broader company objectives and execution constraints
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in complex, ambiguous environments while managing competing demands across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
