Senior Component Validation Engineer responsible for defining, designing, and developing complex radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) in IPs and SoCs. This includes creating verification test plans, conducting transistor-level feasibility analysis, defining floorplan and layout, creating test benches, and verifying/debugging designs to meet specifications. The role involves reviewing system specifications, designing new product concepts, developing and analyzing test procedures, and performing radio signal path analysis for transceivers and RFIC blocks in wireless applications (4G, 5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS). Requires a Master's degree with 7+ years of experience in validation of analog/mixed-signal/RF building blocks and development of measurement automation software/firmware for IP characterization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Defines, designs, and develops complex radio frequency integrated circuits in IPs and SoCs and creates verification test plans for RF validation.
  2. Conducts transistor level feasibility analysis, defines floorplan and layout for RF circuit architecture, creates test benches, and verifies and debugs design to meet the desired specifications.
  3. Reviews system specifications and design plans to ensure that designs meet customer needs and is compliant with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  4. Designs new product concepts and prototypes, creates detailed drawings of circuit designs, and develops and analyzes test procedures.
  5. Performs radio signal path and ensures detailed transistorlevel design for transceivers, RFIC blocks, wireless applications (4G, 5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS).
