What you'd actually do

  1. Leading job and workforce analyses (e.g., mission-to-workforce mapping, demand/supply, skills/competency gaps) to inform workforce shaping and modernization decisions
  2. Applying federal OPM regulations and classification standards to develop/validate position descriptions, titles/series/grades, and support position classification adjudication packages
  3. Designing and implementing promotion criteria and career progression frameworks, ensuring transparency, consistency, and compliance with federal requirements and client policy
  4. Assessing and improving performance management processes, including performance elements/standards, evaluation guidance, and manager/employee enablement materials
  5. Providing end-to-end advisory support across the workforce lifecycle (workforce planning, classification, recruiting/selection inputs, development, performance, and retention) in a high-tempo government environment
