Senior Creative Director, Social & Content at Airbnb, responsible for overseeing social workstreams, shaping a content ecosystem, and developing social-native content systems for global audiences. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead creative across multiple social and content workstreams, ensuring output is distinctive, culturally relevant, and aligned with Airbnb’s brand vision
  2. Develop and guide content formats, series, and repeatable franchises, not just one-off campaigns
  3. Be hands-on in concepting and storytelling, while also setting a clear creative vision for teams and partners
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, external creators, and production partners to bring ideas to life at scale
  5. Build strong relationships across Brand, Marketing, Comms, and Product to ensure cohesion across all touchpoints

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of creative leadership experience across social, content, and brand storytelling
  • Proven success developing YouTube-first or video-led content, including series, channels, or recurring formats that have built and retained audiences
  • Experience operating in environments where editorial, entertainment, and brand intersect
  • Strong understanding of platform mechanics, especially video platforms (YouTube, TikTok), and how content succeeds within them
  • Experience collaborating with creators, influencers, and talent—not just directing campaigns, but co-creating content
  • Ability to translate insights, data, and strategy into compelling creative work that people actively engage with
  • Experience leading both internal teams and external partners (agencies, production companies, creators)
  • Strong storytelling instincts, with a high bar for craft across video, design, and narrative
