What you'd actually do

  1. Develop state of the art techniques in Machine Learning, Personalization and Recommendation systems
  2. Design, implement, and own the state-of-the-art Machine Learning approaches including deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative AI techniques
  3. Collaborate with other tech leads on top-down or bottom-up initiatives and priorities
  4. Develop data models and iteratively improve them based on new data insights
  5. Design, architect and iterate on data models

Skills

Required

  • Master's degree/Ph. D in Data Science, Computer Science or related fields with practical experience
  • Expertise in Machine Learning, Statistics, Generative AI, Personalization and Item Recommendation algorithms
  • Experience in data science and building and evaluating large scale machine learning and deep learning models
  • Experience in designing and deploying highly scalable Recommenders systems for e-commerce
  • Strong coding skills in Python or other related language
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines using Spark, Hive, and/or SQL
  • Experience designing scalable end-to-end model architectures and conducting experiments in PyTorch/TensorFlow to solve complex predictive modeling problems

Nice to have

  • Personalization and recommendation development and implementation experience in an e-commerce environment strongly preferred
