What you'd actually do

  1. Set and execute the overall strategic sourcing strategy across all commodity groups, aligning sourcing decisions to corporate objectives, product roadmaps, and cost targets
  2. Establish and lead a CM Steering Committee to govern performance, capacity, and strategic alignment across key partners
  3. Lead geopolitical supply chain risk programs, including China and Taiwan de-risking, UEL compliance, tariff mitigation, and alternate source qualification
  4. Prepare and present sourcing content for Monthly Business Reviews, Global Operations Reviews, and Board-level Enterprise Risk & Compliance presentations
  5. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sourcing organization capable of scaling with Axon’s portfolio growth and global manufacturing expansion

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership experience
  • Proven success developing sourcing strategies and delivering measurable cost savings
  • Deep experience managing supplier and contract manufacturer relationships in complex hardware, electromechanical, or similarly regulated environments
  • Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation, payment terms strategy, and supplier performance management
  • Experience leading RFx processes, competitive bidding, should-cost analysis, and sourcing support across the product development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate supply chain risk
  • Ability to influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders
  • Experience preparing and presenting business updates, risk assessments, and sourcing recommendations to senior leadership
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
