What you'd actually do

  1. Drive delivery of business outcomes across multiple teams working with hardware integrations, SDK building and EMV certification.
  2. Collaborate closely with PM and vendors to align on actionable, valuable work defined for the team
  3. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership make sure the OKRs and KPIs of the area are healthy
  4. Keep product quality high through QA management.
  5. Ensure end-to-end delivery of hardware, software & certification, including team ownership of monitoring and production issue remediation

Skills

Required

  • Experience writing, delivering, and operating software in a SaaS environment
  • 3-5+ years mentoring and growing successful engineering teams
  • Payments background is essential, ideally with Hardware, EMV and/ or Firmware building experience, on an Android environment
  • Proven expertise to wade through complexity and create clear working solutions in coordination with partners on product, QA, operations and stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Lead technical roadmap initiatives for contactless, contact EMV, and magnetic stripe technologies, while pioneering modern payment solutions like tap-to-phone and SPoC/CPoC
  • Work alongside Hardware Engineering to define future reader architectures, optimize component choices, and oversee manufacturing testing phases
  • Oversee the lifecycle of PCI PTS certifications, maintaining close alignment with QSAs and accredited payment laboratories
  • Partner across Payments Platform, POS, and external partner organizations to ensure cohesive and frictionless integrations
