Senior Finance Manager, Customer Success

This is a Senior Finance Manager role focused on Customer Success at Autodesk. The role partners with Customer Success leaders to drive growth, manage financial strategy for post-sales motions like token consumption and renewals, and analyze SaaS metrics. It involves financial planning, forecasting, modeling, performance insights, and operational excellence within a subscription and SaaS business model. The role does not involve direct AI/ML development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the primary finance partner to the Customer Success Management VP and leadership team, providing trusted financial guidance and strategic insight
  2. Lead annual planning, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning for the Customer Success organization
  3. Own and analyze key SaaS metrics such as gross and net retention, churn, renewals, expansion, cost-to-serve, token consumption, usage and value delivery
  4. Deliver clear, executive-ready insights that connect financial performance to customer outcomes and strategic priorities
  5. Drive simplification, automation, and standardization of financial processes and reporting

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Finance, including FP&A and senior business partnering roles
  • Strong understanding of subscription and SaaS business models
  • Experience supporting Customer Success, Services, or post-sales organizations
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders

Nice to have

  • MBA, CPA, or CFA
  • Experience in a global, matrixed, enterprise technology company
  • Familiarity with planning and analytics tools such as Anaplan, Adaptive and Power BI
  • Proven track record of driving changes in fast-evolving or transformative environments
  • SQL and Sigma experience a plus
