Senior Hris Analyst - Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking Module

This role focuses on configuring and maintaining Workday HCM, specifically Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules, to support HR operations and employee experience. It involves collaborating with stakeholders, leading system configuration, ensuring compliance, and driving Workday releases. The role is part of the People Products team which aims to develop AI-powered self-service products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the subject matter expert across multiple areas of Workday, with specific focus on HCM, Configuration of Payroll (Expertise), Experience in Absence & Time tracking is a plus
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (People Operations, Payroll, Total Rewards, IT etc.) to understand and improve business processes, providing Workday solutions that drive efficiency
  3. Lead end-to-end system configuration to support evolving business needs
  4. Continuously identify opportunities for process efficiency and system improvements, adopting a product-driven mindset to optimize Workday
  5. Understand data flows, business processes and system usages between Workday and other systems (both internal and external)

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience within Workday HCM
  • 2+ years in at least one other functional area (Payroll, Absence & Time tracking etc.)
  • 5+ years of proven ability building and maintaining Workday HCM reporting
  • Experienced working in a SOX based environment
  • End-to-end process understanding
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Influential skills
  • Project management experience
