This role serves as the primary IT partner for manufacturing, warehousing, engineering, and quality organizations, focusing on supporting, optimizing, and advancing manufacturing technology systems. It involves managing IT/OT integration, supporting plant-floor systems like MES, QMS, and ERP manufacturing modules, and ensuring compliance with IT governance and cybersecurity policies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary IT point of contact for manufacturing, warehousing teams, building trusted relationships with plant managers, production supervisors, process engineers, and quality leaders.
  2. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from plant-floor stakeholders; translate them into functional specifications and technical solution designs.
  3. Lead or participate in manufacturing system implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects from requirements through go-live and hypercare.
  4. Develop and maintain the manufacturing IT roadmap in alignment with the enterprise technology strategy and plant operational goals.
  5. Provide Tier 2/3 application support, root-cause analysis, and incident management for manufacturing platforms, ensuring minimal production downtime.
