Senior Manager, Contract Strategy

This role supports the development and execution of contract strategies for institutional customer segments within the Global Hospital & Biosimilars (GH&B) U.S. Commercial Contracting & Rebate Operations organization. It involves partnering with various cross-functional stakeholders to deliver market-responsive, compliant, and data-driven contracting strategies, enabling access to hospital and biosimilar therapies. The role requires analyzing data, evaluating contract performance, and providing analytical insights to support decision-making and negotiations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the development and evaluation of product-, portfolio-, and channel-level contract strategies for assigned institutional customer segments.
  2. Contribute to contract strategy for assigned moderate-to-high-complexity customers, supporting negotiations and implementation in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  3. Assist in the design and refinement of contracting programs and pricing approaches responsive to market dynamics and customer needs.
  4. Analyze internal and external data to support contract strategy development, negotiation preparation, and portfolio assessments.
  5. Ensure contract strategies comply with legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements.

Skills

Required

  • bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience OR master's degree with at least 2 years of experience OR PhD with 0+ years of experience OR associate's degree with 8 years of experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience
  • pharmaceutical, institutional contracting, market access, or related commercial experience
  • Experience working with GPOs, IDNs, hospitals, alternate sites of care, and trade customers
  • Demonstrated strengths in analytical thinking, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work with complex datasets and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms)
