Autodesk is seeking a Senior Manager, Event Content Strategy and Delivery to lead the end-to-end content experience for their flagship global customer conference, Autodesk University (AU), and shape content journeys across their broader event portfolio. This role involves owning content strategy, advising senior leadership, defining content direction, guiding prioritization, and ensuring programming delivers clear value and measurable business impact. Responsibilities include leading session programming, defining content architecture, driving session design, managing the Call for Proposals process, ensuring content quality, and elevating content experience through innovation and data insights. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a complex organizational environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the end-to-end content strategy and execution for AU session programming (breakouts, labs, panels, and expo theaters)
  2. Own the Call for Proposals (CFP) strategy, taxonomy, and session evaluation process
  3. Act as the strategic content lead across Product, Marketing, Comms, and Industry teams driving alignment on priorities and direction Advise and influence senior leaders on content strategy, session design, and audience engagement
  4. Define and evolve best-in-class content experiences for Autodesk’s flagship events

Skills

Required

  • 7–10+ years of experience designing and delivering content experiences for large-scale, enterprise-level conferences or events
  • Proven track record of owning complex content strategy and delivering against business outcomes
  • Deep expertise in content strategy, session design, and audience journey mapping
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to advise and influence senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills—comfortable driving alignment without direct authority
  • Experience working across Product Marketing, Communications, and Event Production teams
  • Highly strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into compelling content experiences
  • Data-informed and outcomes-driven, with a focus on measurable impact and continuous improvement

Nice to have

  • Experience with large-scale flagship events (e.g., 5,000+ attendees; global audience)
  • Familiarity with CFP platforms, session management tools, or event technology ecosystems (e.g., RainFocus)
