Senior Manager, Product Strategy and Planning

This role supports Product Strategy and Planning within Visa's Product & Solutions Organization. Responsibilities include market research, trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, supporting go-to-market strategies, financial planning, business reporting, and developing strategies for new product offerings. The role requires strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills, with experience in consulting and the financial services industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Market research, trend analysis, competitor benchmarking and performance benchmarking for key products
  2. Support the efforts and go-to-market strategies to ensure clearly defined business and investment plans are in place to drive strategy execution
  3. Assess how innovative business models can be applied to key new product offering to enhance value
  4. Lead & develop strategies to compete with alternatives in regions and global
  5. Work with Global and regional product teams to support use case selection, opportunity assessment, competitor analysis, marketing, etc.

Skills

Required

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Experience in and or significant exposure to the financial services/payments industry required
