Senior Manager, Revenue Operations at Airbnb, responsible for financial processes, procedures, and controls for platform operations. What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure that the proper financial processes, procedures and controls are in place to support the financial reporting and audit for Airbnb as it relates to the platform operations.
  2. Champion the team's AI enablement agenda by identifying, piloting, and scaling AI use cases across close, reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  3. Design and maintain appropriate human-review checkpoints for all AI-assisted workflows, ensuring outputs meet audit-ready standards and SOX control requirements.
  4. Partner cross-functionally with Finance leadership, BizTech, and the broader AI enablement initiative to develop accounting-specific use cases, training, and governance frameworks.
  5. Lead the Revenue Operations team, and ensure all processes meet the close deadline.

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of finance and accounting experience, including management level experience in a large multinational organization.
  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience (tech, payments, marketplace(s), hospitality) in a high growth environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Proven track record of operationalizing technical accounting standards to satisfy business requirements.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP (Oracle, SAP, Workday), monetization and billing systems.
  • Polished communication skills and executive presence.
  • Capable of translating complex business matters across functions and levels of leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Aptitude for collaboration and the ability to influence, mentor, and leverage the skills of others to achieve objectives.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage complex initiatives with cross-functional ownership.

  • CPA or equivalent international certification, with Big 4 accounting firm experience, a plus.
  • Payments compliance and reconciliation system experience is a plus.
  • SQL and Tableau a plus.
