We are a global healthcare leader with a diversified portfolio of innovative medicines, vaccines, and animal health products. The Product enablement team within the Applied Research and Innovation team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Product/Business Analyst to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of scientific software.
Candidate will partner with business and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business needs, identify opportunities, and support the development of product strategy and solutions. This role combines business analysis, design thinking, and future-oriented strategic methods to help shape product direction, anticipate change, and inform decision-making.
Candidate will develop and manage various products roadmaps and define how products success and value delivery are measured for their products.
In this role, you will
Apply futures thinking, trend analysis, forecasting, data-driven predictive analytics, and innovation planning to support broader business strategy and decision-making. Collaborate with business consultants to gather industry insight to help shape forward-looking plans and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
Travel as required and partner with business and cross-functional stakeholders to apply future-oriented analysis methods, using emerging trend assessment, scenario planning, and strategic insight generation to shape product strategy and anticipate future business needs.
Guide and manage the development, optimization and scaling up of various scientific IT solutions including business applications, API, plugins etc.
Collaborating with Product Line product managers and other stakeholders to contribute to products planning and strategy. This includes providing input on feature prioritization, market opportunity assessments, and identifying areas for improvement or innovation.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, engineers, and designers, to gather and document product requirements. This involves translating business needs into clearly defined and actionable specifications.
Conduct Product and Problem discovery workshops with stakeholders and users from different business areas
Define the evolution of the existing products based on the company and business priorities
Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to by the product team; focus on Minimal Viable Product (MVP) and iterative, incremental delivery; manage backlog and measure value of the product; proactively manage and mitigate Project Risk
**Required Experience and Skills: **
BSc or MSc in related field with at least 5 years’ experience in Pharma industry or academic settings
Future-oriented strategic thinking skills, with experience using structured methods to anticipate change and inform decision-making
Product management experience with Design Thinking, Problem and Product discovery and UX methodologies
Ability to analyze emerging trends, potential market shifts, and external signals to support product strategy
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and high professional standards with strong ability to prioritize and work under pressure
Experience with end-to-end product delivery, Agile/Scrum development, software validation and SDLC best practices.
Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally, as well as being self-driven and independent.
