Senior Product Policy Manager for Europe, focusing on regional compliance and policy adaptation for Roblox's platform. Collaborates with Legal, Public Policy, Product, and Engineering teams to align product with global and regional regulations and expectations, ensuring safety and civility.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with our Legal and Public Policy teams to articulate Roblox's Safety vision, policies and standards to European regulators
  2. Adapt Roblox’s global policies to regional markets and work with our Moderation Operations team to ensure they are effectively enforced
  3. Analyze the landscape across industry and regulatory activity to proactively anticipate and address risks to Roblox and our users
  4. Work directly with our product and operations teams to guide the development and use of enforcement systems and safety tools for compliance with Roblox policies and local laws
  5. Work closely with the Product Policy Manager for Global Age Ratings to ensure compliant game ratings across various regions

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in online Trust & Safety and/or Product Policy
  • Background in content policy development for global platforms, with a focus on regional policy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong product / technical understanding
  • Experience working directly with senior company leaders and presenting to executives
  • Fluent language skills in English (Required)

Nice to have

  • German and/or Dutch (Preferred)
  • Experience working with the video game rating authorities Pan European Game Information (PEGI), Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle (USK) and/or the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC)
  • Experience working on matters of international policy with global regulators and articulating complex policy issues (Preferred)
  • JD / Master’s degree or equivalent experience
