Senior Research Scientist, Ai-mediated Reality and Interaction

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA

Senior Research Scientist focused on AI-Mediated Reality and Interaction, creating interactive physical AIs for dynamic 4D worlds. Research areas include AI, neural rendering, graphics, generative modeling, LLMs, and human behavior. The role involves proposing and prototyping novel research, publishing in top venues, collaborating with teams, creating demonstrations, and participating in technology transfer to products like Isaac, Omniverse, and Metropolis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Propose novel fundamental research that advances the state-of-the-art in the broader research community and is relevant to NVIDIA’s business; and prototype and test your ideas.
  2. Patent and publish your research in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.).
  3. Collaborate with other research team members, external researchers, and mentor interns and junior researchers.
  4. Create working interactive demonstrations to showcase your research ideas.
  5. Participate in technology transfer with engineers around NVIDIA as ideas “graduate” from research to product.
