This role is for a Senior Social Media Manager at Airtable, a no-code app platform. The primary focus is to architect and build Airtable's social media presence across various platforms. The role involves developing social strategies, creating content, engaging with the community, and analyzing performance. A key aspect is the utilization and experimentation with AI tools to optimize workflows and stay current with AI trends, translating them into social narratives. While AI tools are used extensively for optimization and content creation, the core function is social media management and product marketing, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and own an overarching social media strategy with a clear point of view, and develop channel-specific approaches that reflect the distinct dynamics of LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
  2. Build and iterate on AI-powered workflows that reduce time spent on repetitive tasks, freeing up more bandwidth for high-leverage strategic and creative work.
  3. Proactively develop and refine agentic AI workflows to streamline the social workstream. Build and manage agents that assist with content research, drafting, performance monitoring, and more.
  4. Plan, create, schedule, and publish high-quality content (copy, video, images, stories, reels) across all social channels, maintaining brand voice while tailoring to platform context.
  5. Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics weekly and monthly.

Skills

Required

  • 5–7 years of professional experience in social media marketing
  • Proven strategy builder
  • Deeply curious about and experimental with AI
  • Comfortable and confident on camera
  • Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and content production skills across formats
  • Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later)
  • Proficient in analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
