Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead positioning and messaging for MongoDB Search and Vector Search, focusing on their role as retrieval layers for AI applications and agents. The role requires technical depth in information retrieval and product marketing skills to create differentiated messaging. Experience building or shipping AI-enabled products is a strong advantage.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive Strategy & Execution: Act as a strategic partner for high-impact initiatives that align with MongoDB’s long-term business goals in collaboration with Marketing, Developer Relations, Product Management, Engineering, Partners, and Sales
  2. Drive GTM Excellence: Enable teams with data-driven positioning, messaging, and persona development. You will advise teams on the best tactics to influence diverse audiences
  3. Build Technical Content: Create compelling technical content that educates audiences on how and why Search and Vector Search enable advanced information retrieval as part of AI application and agentic system building
  4. Dive Deep Into Data: Serve as a subject matter expert on search and retrieval, shifting application development patterns, and how embedding and reranking models fit into the AI stack by gathering data from diverse sources and synthesizing it for internal and external audiences
  5. Execute Product Launches: Develop and execute cross-functional launch strategies for new Search and Vector Search functionality and capabilities that grow adoption and revenue
