Senior Technical Writer responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality technical software documentation to enhance customer experience and drive product adoption. This role involves planning, writing, and editing documentation, collaborating with product and technical teams, and seeking innovative solutions like video or AI tools for documentation delivery.

What you'd actually do

  1. Planning, organizing, and writing customer documentation for software products and solutions.
  2. Working closely with product development and technical teams to research and understand technical information about the product so you can write customer documentation for the appropriate persona/audience.
  3. Developing documentation plans and document outlines; defining audience, determining task list, identifying technical information requirements. Accountable to deliver documents on time and on budget.
  4. Writing and editing customer documentation in a clear and concise style following existing guidelines for brand, templates, and style guides.
  5. Monitoring and evaluation accumulation of any backlog items and seeking innovative solutions to address – such as video documentation or use of AI tools
