What you'd actually do

  1. Design, implement, and optimize WAN solutions to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity across multiple locations.
  2. Configure and manage WAN devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
  3. Continuously monitor WAN performance, identify issues, and perform advanced troubleshooting to resolve network problems promptly.
  4. Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data transmitted across the WAN. This includes setting up VPNs, encryption, and access controls.
  5. Analyze network traffic and optimize WAN performance to ensure high availability and minimal latency.
