Soc Design Verification Engineer

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · Bangalore, India

This role focuses on SoC Design Verification, developing and executing verification plans, test benches, and environments for Intel's next-generation System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. Responsibilities include functional logic verification, debugging, root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality SoC designs with a focus on security.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans, test benches, and environments.
  2. Perform functional logic verification of SoC designs to validate specifications and uncover bugs.
  3. Define and run emulation and system simulation models to verify design functionality, analyze power and performance, and address issues.
  4. Debug, root cause, and resolve failures in the presilicon environment while documenting corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, postsilicon engineers, and physical design teams to enhance verification methodologies and ensure high-quality SoC designs.
