Intel is seeking a SOC Design Verification Engineer in Bangalore, India, to ensure the functionality, quality, and security of cutting-edge System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. Responsibilities include developing verification plans, test benches, and environments; executing verification plans using emulation and simulation; debugging presilicon issues; collaborating with cross-functional teams; and enhancing verification infrastructure. The role requires proficiency in System Verilog, OVM/UVM, and SoC test environment development, along with strong hardware design knowledge.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans, test benches, and environments based on microarchitecture specifications.
  2. Execute verification plans, run emulation and simulation models, and analyze power and performance to ensure design quality.
  3. Debug and root-cause presilicon issues, implementing corrective measures to resolve failing tests and improve overall verification accuracy.
  4. Collaborate with SoC architects, microarchitects, RTL developers, postsilicon teams, and physical design teams to optimize verification for complex architectural features.
  5. Drive technical reviews of test plans and proofs with design and architecture teams, ensuring alignment and thorough coverage.
