Soc Integration Engineer

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · California, Santa Clara, United States +3

Seeking an experienced SoC Integration Engineer to join the Unified Intel Chassis (UIC) team. This role involves working on high-performance Network-on-Chip (NoC) platform solutions, integrating IP blocks into SoC platforms, and collaborating with architecture, IP, and physical design teams to meet power, performance, and area (PPA) targets. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience, specifically in SoC and/or IP design.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with SoC architecture teams to define and refine system-level chassis and interconnect requirements
  2. Design and integrate high-performance NoC / interconnect fabrics meeting power, performance, and area (PPA) targets
  3. Drive integration of IP blocks into SoC platforms, ensuring scalability and performance across products
  4. Collaborate with fabric IP development teams to enhance or customize reusable components
  5. Analyze trade-offs across performance, power, and area to influence architectural decisions
