What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable software services for the Trade PMR platform using .NET and AWS.
  2. Drive the technical roadmap for major initiatives, including the development of integration APIs for third-party CRMs and the Robinhood Advisor Network.
  3. Architect solutions that ensure the platform can support significantly larger advisors and increased client activity.
  4. Mentor and provide technical guidance to mid-level and junior engineers across the Trade PMR org.
  5. Maintain and enhance the core Fusion software, ensuring high availability and performance.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience (with a focus on backend systems).
  • Expert-level proficiency in backend development using .NET technologies.
  • Proven experience architecting and deploying services on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining complex integrations (APIs, single sign-ons, inbound/outbound data flows).
  • Strong ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment and manage multiple high-priority workstreams.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of mentoring other engineers.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) or Wealth Management industry.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL or React.
  • Experience scaling B2B platforms or working on post-acquisition integrations.
