Specialist, Technology Support - Logistics (wednesday-saturday 4:00pm-2:30am)

This role provides day-to-day support for equipment in a logistics environment, handling L1 Service Desk requests and incidents, assisting with new system installations, and monitoring data center alarms. It acts as a first point of contact for IT support, resolving incidents, managing outages, and supporting printers and Windows systems, escalating complex issues as needed.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serves as first point of contact for DC/FC users seeking IT support.
  2. Aims to resolve a significant portion of incidents and fulfill routine service requests directly.
  3. Act as communication bridge between the operations and various support teams to facilitate smooth information flow and effective problem resolution.
  4. Manage release of planned outages and upgrades to ensure successful implementation.
  5. Assist with supporting Microsoft Windows and its office products.
