Sr. Competitive Intelligence Analyst, Platform Security (remote)

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Competitive Intelligence Analyst to support strategic competitive endeavors for their AI-native cybersecurity platform. This role will focus on understanding and developing competitive analysis for CrowdStrike's platform, driving field-facing strategy, and guiding roadmap decisions by providing deep technical understanding of market capabilities and competitive dynamics. The analyst will partner with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing to achieve these objectives and scale globally.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will be required to synthesize and formulate guidance from a variety of information levels and sources (technical, business, field, external) and regularly present key takeaways to the field and to senior leadership
  2. Provide a field-actionable, in-depth, and ever-evolving understanding and analysis of competitive dynamics, relative to CrowdStrike solutions and capabilities
  3. Function as the company’s strategic advisor on this market, and become the “de facto” subject matter expert on the market for all business units and functions
  4. Provide tailored deal support (opportunity assessments & guidance), and develop a deep rapport with the field
  5. You will work closely multiple teams within CrowdStrike, including key stakeholders (Office of the CTO, field leadership, sales ops, product, and marketing teams), functioning as a primary liaison for cross-functional corporate initiatives relating to increasing market share including direct development of competitive support material and competitive readiness plans.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Cyber Security market with heavy emphasis on endpoint security
  • Must have some field-relevant experience in endpoint or cloud security
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience (Ideal candidates will have experience in at least TWO of the following): sales engineer/pre-sales, field-facing competitive intelligence, solution architect, sales operations, product management, technical marketing, professional services
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into field actionable guidance and executive summaries.
  • Superior communication skills including experience presenting to senior & executive level management
  • Excellent people and project management skills to manage projects and interact/build rapport with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
  • Deep understanding of customer motivations, pain points, and how to influence

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with customers (as a customer, or in a customer support or field role)
  • Hands-on experience with products (either evaluating/testing or in production)
