Sr. Corporate Development Associate

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Corporate Development Associate/Manager to identify and execute acquisitions and strategic investments to support their corporate and product strategy. This role involves end-to-end transaction management, including due diligence, material preparation, and post-close integration planning. The associate will also build relationships within the ecosystem to originate opportunities and enhance team efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Help develop M&A and investment strategy:
  2. Lead cross-functional due diligence processes, working closely with Databricks’ cross-functional deal team during the entire transaction lifecycle.
  3. Be the primary author of executive and Board materials.
  4. Collaborate with our M&A Integration team to drive post-close integration planning (e.g., operational alignment, cross-functional coordination).
  5. Build relationships with investors, investment bankers, founders, and other stakeholders in our ecosystem; run thesis-led outreach to originate opportunities and gather market intel.
