Sr Product Manager - Product Detail Page (pdp) Experience

This role is for a Senior Product Manager focused on the Product Detail Page (PDP) experience at Target. The primary responsibilities include owning and evolving the PDP to improve guest confidence, product evaluation, and basket-building outcomes. This involves defining and delivering guest-facing experiences such as product content, reviews, recommendations, and other decision-support features. The role requires leveraging guest research, analytics, and experimentation to identify customer needs and prioritize investments. The Product Manager will partner closely with UX, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Personalization teams to develop product strategies and deliver high-impact solutions. The goal is to transform the PDP into an adaptive, context-aware shopping experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and evolve the Product Detail Page (PDP) experience, identifying opportunities to improve guest confidence, product evaluation, and basket-building outcomes.
  2. Define and deliver guest-facing experiences such as product content, reviews and ratings, recommendations, and other decision-support experiences that help guests make informed purchase decisions.
  3. Leverage guest research, analytics, experimentation, and business insights to identify customer needs, uncover opportunities, and prioritize investments that drive measurable outcomes.
  4. Partner closely with UX, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Personalization, and Business teams to develop product strategies, align priorities, and deliver high-impact solutions in a complex and evolving environment.
  5. Shape the future of the PDP by helping integrate adaptive and contextually-aware experiences that respond to guest behavior, shopping mission, product attributes, inventory state, and other signals to deliver more relevant experiences.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of product management experience building customer-facing digital products in e-commerce environments
  • demonstrated track record of using customer insights, analytics, and experimentation to deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, evaluate tradeoffs, and make informed product decisions with incomplete information
  • Experience leveraging qualitative research, quantitative analysis, and experimentation to identify opportunities and inform product strategy
