This role is for a Sr Sourcing Specialist focused on Marketing and Graphic Communications within Disney Experiences. The specialist will develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, conduct market intelligence, lead negotiations, and mitigate risks to support marketing and creative initiatives. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, with an emphasis on influencing outcomes and acting as a trusted advisor.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own defined segments of the Marketing category strategy, translating business demand, market dynamics and supplier capabilities into actionable sourcing roadmaps.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert within marketing sourcing.
  3. Serve as a trusted advisor to Marketing and Creative leaders, helping stakeholders define problems, challenge assumptions and evaluate tradeoffs across cost, speed, quality and innovation.
  4. Identify sourcing opportunities that drive cost savings, efficiency and risk mitigation.
  5. Design and execute competitive sourcing events, including RFPs and negotiations.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience
  • 2+ years supporting marketing services and partnering with complex stakeholders
  • Experience negotiating services agreements
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end sourcing processes
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience leveraging tools such as Excel and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Ability to analyze data, synthesize insights and communicate clearly
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across functions and leadership levels
  • Curious, resourceful and committed to continuous learning
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, marketing or equivalent professional experience

Nice to have

  • Prior leadership experience within sourcing
  • CPM, CIRM, CPIM, or similar certifications preferred
  • Graduate / Master’s degree in business or another quantitative discipline
