Sr. Staff Silicon Design Engineer

This role is for a Sr. Staff Silicon Design Engineer focused on designing high-performance RF ADCs and DACs for FPGA devices. Responsibilities include developing circuit architectures, simulation, verification, layout collaboration, EMIR and reliability validation, design reviews, and post-silicon validation. Requires at least 5 years of experience in data converters and/or high-speed circuits, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop circuit architectures to meet requirement specifications
  2. Simulation test bench development and simulation verification of the developed circuit architectures (schematic and layout)
  3. Collaborate closely with Layout Engineers to implement your design in layout
  4. EMIR and Reliability validation of design circuits
  5. Partaking in on-going design reviews over the course of the design cycle
  6. Validation of your design on return of Silicon from Fab.

Skills

Required

  • Electronic Engineering degree
  • 5 Years Experience in design of high performance data converters and / or high speed (GHz) circuits
  • Experience in designing High Performance Digital-to-Analog Converters (eg: Current Steering DAC)
  • Experience in designing a range of analog circuits such as amplifiers, oscillators, reference circuits and comparators
  • Excellent understanding of process technology and the influence on circuit behavior
  • Excellent understanding of circuit simulators and simulation techniques
  • Ability to create innovate circuits and identify novel circuit techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
