Block is seeking a Strategic Account Manager for their largest sellers in the Food and Beverage vertical. The role involves managing relationships, growing account-based revenue, and acting as a consultant to high-value restaurant sellers. The candidate will identify opportunities for technical Square solutions, manage project execution with cross-functional teams, and negotiate pricing. This role requires experience in account management, technical solutioning, and contract negotiations, with a preference for restaurant or F&B technology experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a book of 50 Strategic Food & Beverage Sellers
  2. Grow account-based revenue via use-case expansion opportunities, cross-sell opportunities, and customized seller onboarding experiences
  3. Serve as the voice of the upmarket seller with Product Teams
  4. Act as a consultant and partner to high value restaurant sellers to accomplish their goals
  5. Identify opportunities for technical Square solutions to address existing customer needs; project manage the execution of these technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
